Analyzing Growth by Channel in Mass Retail
Amazon, Walmart and Target comprise the bulk of mass merchandise sold online by big consumer brands, totaling nearly 15% of the entire retail market and more than half of the entire eCommerce market in the U.S. when combined.
The data recently released by the Census Bureau, Amazon, Walmart and Target provides a great opportunity to dive in and see how the retail market is shifting and the degree to which the narrative of “consumers rapidly returning to stores” is true for mass retail.
