Walmart announced Luminate, its new analytics offering, at the end of 2021, and has begun opening the service to brands over the last few months.
Walmart’s executives have described Luminate as the common data source that both merchants and brands will leverage to grow their businesses faster and more profitably.
The offering includes three different types of insights including a shopper panel of Walmart customers, customer perception, and omnichannel performance.
Consumer brands and agencies have slowly started to adopt the service, with many more wondering if it’s worth the investment.
