Amazon Prime Day

Prime Day launched in 2015, right around the time I started researching this market, and this year’s event is unlike any other in its history given the macroeconomic pressure on the consumer and high inventory levels in select categories.


Yesterday, I analyzed a handful of categories to better understand what’s happening in terms of promotional depth and key initiatives like livestreaming and influencers.
